Southbound on old Columbia pike leaving Buttonsville, I've had many a close call/near miss at this pinch point where the shoulder, wide enough before and after, shrinks in size on a curve which many cars judge incorrectly and drive into the shoulder area, leaving little room for me to move right to avoid being hit.
